Highview National Insurance Company seeks a Director of Loss Control to lead our loss control and risk management function. You will guide pre-bind risk assessments, lead root cause analysis, and oversee external loss control partnerships, while mentoring a Risk Control Specialist.

You will partner with Underwriting and Claims to shape tools, resources, and programs that support safer workplaces and stronger risk performance across our portfolio.

Formación

• 7+ years in workers' compensation loss control or risk management, with leadership experience.
• Deep knowledge of WC in NY, NJ, and PA; Code Rule 59 and Code Rule 60 experience required.
• Proven root cause analysis experience — claim-by-claim investigation, not just trend reporting.
• Strong communication skills; ability to distill complex risk findings into concise, actionable assessments.
• Willingness to travel within NY, NJ, and PA.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the development and execution of our loss control program designed to reduce workplace injuries and improve overall risk performance.
• Oversee the evaluation of workplace environments, operational practices, and safety controls to identify exposures and recommend corrective actions.
• Analyze loss trends to uncover patterns, measure program effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct pre-bind risk quality assessments for elevated-risk accounts, including insured interviews and graded recommendations to Underwriting.
• Lead claim-by-claim root cause analysis and produce corrective action plans for Underwriting, Claims, and the insured.
• Establish and track risk recommendations with mandatory UW notification on compliance and non-compliance.
• Manage vendor relationships including field inspection TPA and AI tech, etc.
• Develop post-bind loss prevention resources tailored to each class of business.
• Administer NY Code Rule 59/60 and PA safety committee credit programs.
• Manage and develop direct report(s).
