Qualifications

• ALA-accredited MLS degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven leadership in a complex, matrixed university environment.
• Experience managing library services for research, teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership in evolving library services, collections and facilities.
• Oversee teams handling collection development, data services, research support, course services and space usage.
• Collaborate with Harvard Library colleagues to modernize service delivery and leverage expertise.
• Lead staffing, budgeting and resource allocation with a focus on collaboration and excellence.
