Job summary

Maysville Community & Technical College is seeking a Director of Library Services (Faculty) to provide leadership for library operations, services, collections and resources across campus locations. The role emphasizes information literacy, budgeting, and strategic initiatives to strengthen student learning and success.

The position is on-campus, exempt, with standard daytime hours, and requires travel between campuses as needed. It is a 12‑month term position with a salary of $55,392 annually.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in library science from an ALA-accredited program.
• Three to five years of experience in an academic library or equivalent.
• Program must be ALA-accredited per requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead library services across multiple locations and manage information literacy initiatives.
• Strategic planning and leadership for the library unit, including budgeting and grants.
• Oversee cataloging, interlibrary loan, and collection development aligning with curriculum.
• Supervise librarian faculty and staff and provide training.
• Oversee library webpages and unit reporting of service statistics.
• Participate in professional development and service activities.
