Job summary

The Howard Law Group is seeking an experienced Manager of Legal Operations in Boca Raton, FL. This leadership role governs training, onboarding, workload oversight, KPI tracking, and client-system governance to ensure efficient, compliant operations across the firm’s creditor-side foreclosure and litigation teams.

You will mentor staff, develop standardized procedures, and provide daily reporting to the Managing Attorney while coordinating with attorneys and clients to meet evolving requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a high-volume default servicing or creditor-side foreclosure law firm.
• 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.

Responsibilities

• Train all new hires on firm systems, workflows, and client requirements.
• Build and maintain a structured onboarding program with milestones.
• Deliver ongoing training for existing staff and refresher training when gaps are found.
• Maintain training materials and desk procedures updated with policy/client requirements.
• Review paralegal workloads daily and rebalance as needed.
• Track KPI and workflow performance by team member, practice stage, and client.
• Prepare workload and staffing analyses for decisions on new hires or terminations.
• Assist Managing Attorney in reviewing attorney productivity and file movement.
• Monitor file timelines and identify bottlenecks to improve efficiency.
• Oversee client scorecards and document trends over time.
• Train on client alerts and ensure workflow updates reflect new requirements.
