Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Manager of Instructional Design & Learning Effectiveness to design enterprise-wide learning solutions and governance. The role focuses on improving learning outcomes, collaborating with Talent Development, Operations, and HR to create instructor-led and eLearning courses, microlearning, and job aids.

Located at Invenergy's Chicago headquarters with hybrid work; prior experience in corporate learning and leading a team is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Adult Education, Human Resources, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in instructional design and learning development.
• Proven experience in corporate learning program management and measuring learning outcomes.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across teams.
• Strong prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with e-learning tools and multimedia editing software.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative learning solutions to enhance employee capability and organizational performance.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and professional development for a subordinate instructional designer.
• Create and maintain style guides, guides, and governance practices across learning functions.
• Design and update learning content for mandatory training using ILT, VILT, e-learning, and microlearning.
• Create content for LMS administration and work with SMEs to transform complex information into learner-centered experiences.
• Manage external training vendors and resources as needed.
