Job summary

Emory University’s School of Law seeks a Director of Admission to lead day-to-day admissions operations for JD, LLM, MLS, and SJD programs and to oversee financial aid administration.

Reporting to the Assistant Dean of Admission, this role drives recruitment strategies, manages the admissions team, and partners with faculty and alumni to reach enrollment goals while ensuring compliance and exceptional student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's or JD degree.
• Three years of admissions, financial aid, or related field experience at a selective institution.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally with heavier travel in fall recruitment.
• Effective writing and public speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior administrators to create recruitment and admissions initiatives.
• Provide leadership and oversight of the law school's admissions and financial aid operations.
• Lead enrollment planning and budgeting to meet targets and needs.
• Review applications, conduct admissions interviews, and make selection recommendations.
• Develop, organize, and supervise admissions events (in person and virtual).
• Produce regular reports and analyses on enrollment progress and outcomes.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support enrollment goals.
