Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital in Wildomar, CA seeks a Director of Laboratory to lead the laboratory department across its two acute-care facilities in Inland Valley Medical Center (Wildomar) and Rancho Springs Medical Center (Murrieta). This role requires significant CLS experience and CA licensure, with strong leadership and compliance responsibilities.

The Director will supervise staff, ensure quality control, and maintain regulatory compliance per Joint Commission and Title 22

Qualifications

• Five to seven years of clinical experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) required.
• Minimum three years leadership experience as a CLS or in related field; acute care experience preferred.
• Current CLS license in the State of California.

Responsabilités

• Oversee the laboratory department, ensuring efficient, economical, and quality operations.
• Supervise staff performing chemical, hematological, microscopic and bacteriological tests.
• Ensure compliance with The Joint Commission and Title 22 standards and hospital policies.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, organization, and interpersonal skills with clinical staff and the public.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of lab tests and their clinical significance.
• Manage time effectively to complete projects.
