Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services seeks a strategic Director of Labor Relations to lead a proactive, enterprise-wide labor relations function. This role focuses on prevention, workforce engagement, and early risk identification, partnering with senior leaders to align labor strategy with organizational priorities and culture.

Location in Albuquerque, NM with hybrid onsite requirements; periodic travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience in labor relations, employee relations, employment law, or workforce risk mitigation.
• Experience advising leaders on complex labor relations matters.
• Knowledge of labor relations principles, labor law, and workforce engagement best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve a system-wide labor relations strategy aligned with organizational priorities.
• Serve as enterprise leader and subject matter expert on labor relations matters; advise senior leaders on strategy and risk mitigation.
• Establish governance structures, playbooks, escalation pathways, and enterprise standards for labor relations across all entities.
• Partner with Workforce Analytics to build predictive labor-risk dashboards and regular executive reporting.
• Educate and build leadership capability in labor relations through tools, training, and coaching.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field
