The role advises on labor law, collective bargaining strategy, contract interpretation, and workforce initiatives impacting Delta's unionized and non-union workforce. The Director collaborates with divisional leadership, Labor Relations, and executives to shape labor

• Serve as a strategic advisor to divisional leadership on labor and employment matters.
• Provide strategic legal counsel regarding contractual issues and labor law compliance.
• Partner with Labor Relations to develop enterprise-wide labor relations strategies.
• Advise on interpretation and application of labor agreements with workforce implications.
• Oversee legal strategy in grievances, arbitrations, negotiations and disputes.
• Support contract administration and labor-management relationship initiatives.
• Draft, review and negotiate settlements and labor-related documents.
• Monitor developments in labor and employment law and assess risks.
• Influence enterprise-wide labor and employment strategies balancing legal and financial priorities.
• Lead strategic projects impacting Delta's labor relations environment.
• Direct outside counsel on arbitrations and complex labor matters with governance alignment.
• Mentor and develop talent and maintain a collaborative, inclusive culture
