Job summary

Chartwells K12 seeks an experienced Director of Dining Services to lead a large K-12 dining program serving about 5,700 students across 13 schools in Fond du Lac, WI. You will oversee breakfast, lunch, dinner, summer feeding, and catering, while managing a team of 70 Compass associates with executive support.

The role requires a strong leader with proven P&L accountability, strategic thinking, and a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Nutrition, Management, Hospitality or Culinary.
• Five or more years in foodservice management.
• Experience managing K-12 food service and high-volume operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead 70 frontline associates and oversee a comprehensive K-12 dining program across multiple schools.
• Own the annual budget and drive cost control and profitability.
• Ensure quality, safety, sanitation, and customer satisfaction.
• Recruit, train, and develop talent across the team.
• Build strong client and stakeholder relationships and lead strategic initiatives.
