Job summary

Myrick Recruiting LLC, partnered with an established U.S. designer and manufacturer of industrial machine knives, seeks a Director of Information Systems & AI in the Dayton/Centerville area.

You will lead technology strategy, digital transformation, and AI initiatives to improve efficiency, security, and scalability across ERP, CRM, networks, and cloud services. You will set data governance, promote analytics, supervise IT teams, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with security

Qualifications

• 5-10 years in IT purchasing, sales operations, or business analysis.
• 3-5 years in ERP systems such as Sage, SAP, Epicor, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.
• Experience with SQL or Access.
• Typically office environment; occasional manufacturing floor exposure.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for IT teams and projects; align goals with business objectives.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and AI capabilities to improve efficiency and decision making.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define user needs and implement technology solutions.
• Identify automation opportunities to boost productivity and accuracy.
• Oversee security of networks and applications; coordinate audits and remediation.
• Develop test plans for new applications and upgrades; drive cross-functional testing.
• Lead large-scale technology and digital transformation initiatives from strategy to implementation.
• Promote data strategy with analytics, BI, and governance to enable informed decisions.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure projects are delivered on time and budget.
• Be the subject matter expert for Sage ERP; educate users and tailor functionality as needed.
• Drive cloud migrations and architect a cohesive technology landscape.
