SpyGlass Pharma, Inc. seeks its first dedicated in-house Director of IT to own IT strategy, systems administration, and infrastructure across a Microsoft 365-based environment.

This hands-on leader will collaborate with our MSP/MSSP and a fractional CISO to deliver secure, scalable technology as the company grows. Initially an individual contributor, the director will build and mentor an internal IT team within the first year, drive regulatory compliance (21 CFR Part 11, SOX), and partner with

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of progressive IT systems experience in life sciences or GxP environments.
• Hands-on individual contributor and leadership experience.
• Experience with 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP 5, and computer system validation.
• SOX IT General Controls experience including access reviews and change management.
• Experience scaling IT during headcount growth (100–400+).
• Deep admin experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and Conditional Access; MSP/vendor management.
• Ability to build internal IT team within year one.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and administer SpyGlass IT infrastructure (Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune).
• Oversee full lifecycle of IT systems (security, maintenance, upgrades) across ERP/QMS/clinical tools.
• Manage outsourced IT and help desk with SLAs and escalation.
• Partner with CISO on cybersecurity, AI governance and access-control policy.
• Develop scalable IT policies and governance for 90–500 employees.
• Plan backup, disaster recovery, and testing.
• Collaborate with Quality, Clinical, Commercial, Finance, and HR on IT needs.
• Hire and mentor first internal IT staff within year one.
