Job summary

Field AI seeks a Director of IT, Infrastructure & Security to own IT operations, security programs, and compliance end-to-end. You’ll lead a small team, manage MSPs, and partner with Engineering, Legal, and Executives to keep Field AI secure, compliant, and productive.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in IT, infrastructure, or security leadership at a tech company.
• Hands-on experience driving audits such as SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001/CMMC readiness.
• CISSP or equivalent senior security certification/experience.
• Strong networking experience with switches, firewalls, VLANs, routing, VPNs, Wi‑Fi, and segmentation.
• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity controls, incident response, and vendor risk management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including help desk, onboarding/offboarding, asset lifecycle, and admin of Google Workspace and JumpCloud.
• Own network infrastructure lifecycle, security, monitoring, and vendor management.
• Lead compliance operations, evidence collection, access reviews, and audit support.
• Manage security controls, IAM/MFA, patching, vulnerability remediation, logging, and SOC/MSSP coordination.
• Communicate risk to engineers and executives, and guide security reviews with practical controls.
