Responsibilities

• Establish current and long-range technology goals aligned to the agency mission.
• Lead policy discussions and planning for the future of IT within the agency.
• Set policies, review IT processes, and select strategies for systems.
• Act as liaison between information systems and other agency functions.
• Supervise IT directors, managers, and staff or provide direction.
• Provide technical guidance for major plans and procedures.
• Analyze business needs and research new IT technologies.
• Represent the IT division in internal and external events.
• Participate in budgeting with agency executives for IT.
• Oversee IT projects through lifecycle within budget and schedule.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop staff with clear expectations.
• Set performance expectations and ensure quality and deadlines.
