The Director of IT - Food Manufacturing will lead and build the information technology function across all business units. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with business priorities, managing daily systems and infrastructure operations, and leading key technology initiatives that support enterprise-wide growth.

This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for standing up a scalable and secure IT infrastructure while working cross-functionally with stakeholders across operations, supply chain, quality, and finance. The Director will initially oversee a lean team, with responsibility to grow internal capabilities and manage external partners as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement an enterprise-wide IT strategy aligned with business and operational goals
• Oversee all day-to-day IT functions, including infrastructure, business systems, cybersecurity, helpdesk, and vendor management
• Assess legacy systems across merged businesses and lead integration, standardization, or replacement as appropriate to improve efficiency, quality, and innovation
• Lead complex IT initiatives such as ERP selection and implementation, network upgrades, cloud migration, and rollout of data governance and analytics tools
• Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with food safety, privacy, and regulatory standards
• Implement and oversee cybersecurity protocols, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans
• Manage external IT partners and negotiate service contracts to ensure cost-effective and reliable services
• Build and manage a high-performing IT team operating across multiple facilities, balancing internal hiring with outsourced support
• Serve as a strategic IT advisor to the Chief Administrative Officer and broader executive team
• Develop and manage the IT budget, identifying cost-savings opportunities through smart tech investments and process improvements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s preferred
• 10+ years of progressive experience in IT, including 5+ years in a leadership capacity
• Experience managing IT across multi-site manufacturing or food production environments strongly preferred
• Demonstrated success implementing and supporting ERP systems and other enterprise business platforms
• Deep knowledge of IT governance, infrastructure, compliance standards, and cybersecurity best practices
• Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to operate strategically and tactically in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
