Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a Director of IT Asset Management to establish vision and governance across SAM, HAM, and APM. You will partner with Infrastructure, Finance, Procurement, Cybersecurity, and Architecture to drive asset lifecycle excellence and regulatory alignment.

You will define multi-year strategies, oversee enterprise governance, and lead a staff responsible for asset data, licensing, and portfolio optimization. Strong leadership and banking context are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in IT or related field.
• Extensive experience leading IT Asset Management programs.
• Proven governance, risk, and compliance oversight.
• Strong understanding of SAM, HAM, APM.
• Experience partnering with Finance, Procurement and Security.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute enterprise ITAM strategy across SAM, HAM, and APM.
• Lead governance, operating model, standards, and procedures.
• Drive asset data quality, lifecycle governance, and licensing optimization.
• Partner with Finance, Procurement, Risk, Architecture, and Ops teams.
• Sponsor audits, remediation planning, and executive dashboards.
• Lead and develop ITAM leaders and teams across functions.
