Job summary

The Associated: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore, based in Baltimore, MD, seeks a Director of Investor Relations to manage donor and institutional relationships, oversee investment activity, and ensure accuracy in all financial processes. The role collaborates with investment managers, sub-accountants and vendors, driving improvements and operational excellence.

This is a full-time, hybrid position requiring three days in the office weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in nonprofit finance, community foundation services, or investment operations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including building, auditing and maintaining complex spreadsheets and financial models.
• Exceptional attention to detail with proofreading and quality-control skills.
• Experience in donor relations, client services, or a customer-facing financial role.

Responsibilities

• Serve as staff liaison to Investment Committee leadership and prepare materials.
• Coordinate and distribute committee meeting materials including investment summaries and fund activity reports.
• Develop and maintain quarterly and annual investment reports for leadership review.
• Oversee investment administration, internal controls, and vendor relationships.
• Monitor fund valuations, grant disbursements and donor restrictions to ensure accuracy.
