Qualifications

• 12+ years of communications experience in financial services, asset management, professional services or similar complex corporate environments.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with significant experience developing internal and executive communications.
• Ability to translate complex information into concise, engaging messaging for broad employee audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute internal communications strategies aligned with Firm and business priorities.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on messaging, positioning, and employee communications.
• Draft and edit executive communications, firmwide announcements, leadership messages, talking points, presentations and town halls.
• Translate complex business topics into clear, compelling communications for varied audiences.
• Lead communications from strategy through writing, stakeholder review and final execution.
• Manage internal communications channels and ensure consistent messaging and tone across the Firm.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to identify communications needs and opportunities.

We are seeking a Director of Internal Communications to join a lean, highly collaborative Corporate Affairs team. This role will combine communications strategy, executive counsel and hands‑on content development, partnering closely with senior leadership to shape how key business priorities and initiatives are communicated across the Firm. The ideal candidate is a strong strategic thinker and exceptional writer who can advise senior stakeholders while also personally drafting and refining high-impact communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute internal communications strategies aligned with Firm and business priorities
• Serve as a trusted communications advisor to senior leaders, providing guidance on messaging, positioning and employee communications
• Personally draft and edit executive communications, firmwide announcements, leadership messages, talking points, presentations and town hall content
• Translate complex business topics and initiatives into clear, compelling and accessible messaging
• Lead communications from strategy and message development through writing, stakeholder review and final execution
• Manage key internal communications channels and ensure consistent messaging and tone across the Firm
• Partner cross-functionally with senior stakeholders to identify communications needs and opportunities
• Operate effectively within a lean team, balancing big-picture thinking with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and execute

Qualifications

• 12+ years of communications experience, ideally within financial services, asset management, professional services or another complex corporate environment
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with significant experience developing internal and executive communications
• Demonstrated ability to both set communications strategy and personally execute against it
• Experience advising and partnering directly with senior executives
• Ability to translate complex information into concise, engaging communications for broad employee audiences
• Strong judgment, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor within a small, collaborative team
