Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline seeks a visionary leader to join its Oncology Translational Medicine Integrative Sciences team as Director of Integrative Sciences. This role focuses on driving diagnostic technology platforms using oncology foundational models, AI/ML, real-world data, multi-modal omics, and biomarker discovery to transform cancer understanding and treatment.

The successful candidate will shape biomarker, diagnostic, and clinical development strategies for ADCs and other modalities, while guiding

Qualifications

PhD or equivalent in computational biology, bioinformatics, ML, or related field.
7+ years in pharma/biotech or academia focusing on oncology translational medicine and biomarker analysis.
Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrix environments and driving translational science.
Knowledge of emerging diagnostic platforms and translational medicine in clinical development.

Responsibilities

Lead innovation in diagnostic technologies and multi-modal biomarker platforms to enhance patient stratification.
Develop oncology foundational models and AI/ML approaches for complex datasets.
Serve as SME in analytical methods to enable biomarker discovery and diagnostics for ADCs and related modalities.
Oversee integration of foundational models to inform translational medicine and clinical development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate data analytics approaches for insights into biology.
Lead efforts to identify and implement emerging tech platforms for diagnostic innovation.
Provide leadership for clear communication of data outputs to senior stakeholders.
