Job summary

COVE Animal Health is seeking a Director of Integration for a remote role with regional travel across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. You will lead cross-functional initiatives moving from strategy to execution, partnering with hospital teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

The position emphasizes hands-on leadership, trust-building with hospital leaders, and the ability to navigate complex, cross-functional projects while traveling up to 30–50% as required by project scope.

DIRECTOR OF INTEGRATION

COVE Animal Health Remote | Northeast / Mid-Atlantic Preferred | Full-Time

OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS

Pay: $125,000-$150,000 base salary

Schedule: Typically, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM; rare critical evening/weekend needs

Incentives: Annual bonus opportunity

Travel: Approximately 30-50%, project dependent; approved travel expenses and mileage reimbursed

Location: Remote | Northeast/Mid-Atlantic location preferred due to the regional scope of the position and anticipated travel.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE | NON-NEGOTIABLE

• Veterinary industry experience with a strong understanding of hospital operations and how veterinary teams work day to day
• Hands-on experience supporting or leading acquisition onboarding and integration
• Proven experience leading and project-managing large, complex, cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution
• Ability to build trust quickly and work effectively with hospital leaders, sellers, internal teams, and other stakeholders throughout periods of change
• Ability to travel approximately 30-50%, based on project needs, and work effectively in a remote, project-driven environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS | NOT A DEAL BREAKER

• Experience across multiple veterinary service lines such as GP, ER/Urgent Care, and Specialty
• Experience with de novo hospital openings, relocations, expansions, or system implementations
• Strong executive presence and confidence working directly with sellers, vendors, hospital leaders, and senior stakeholders
• Ability to navigate different personalities and perspectives, influence others, and drive accountability while maintaining trust
• Comfortable moving between strategic planning and hands-on execution, with adaptability, grit, organization, and communication skills needed to keep complex work moving forward
