With a focus on delivering high-performance, scalable infrastructure for enterprise and Web3 applications, they are building the foundation for the next generation of secure and sustainable digital systems.

They are currently seeking an experienced Director of Information Technology to lead IT operations, infrastructure, and security across the organization. This fully remote position offers a unique opportunity to shape strategic IT initiatives in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

Role Overview

Reporting directly to the CIO, the Director of IT will be responsible for the full scope of IT functions ensuring security, reliability, and scalability to support a distributed workforce. You will work closely with leadership, cross-functional teams, and third-party partners to drive enterprise IT strategy and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive IT roadmap aligned with business goals
• Lead a distributed team of IT professionals focused on innovation, uptime, and security
• Oversee IT infrastructure, systems architecture, network operations, and cloud environments
• Manage budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships to support global scalability
• Ensure IT policies, procedures, and systems support compliance and risk mitigation
• Spearhead IT projects from strategy to execution, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
• Collaborate with teams across engineering, security, operations, and HR to align IT with company priorities

Core Qualifications

• Deep understanding of enterprise IT systems, networks, and security frameworks
• Proven experience managing IT operations in a remote-first or globally distributed environment
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, incident response planning, and threat prevention
• Experience managing complex software ecosystems, including SaaS platforms and enterprise applications
• Strong leadership and team development skills, with a track record of building high-performing teams
• Ability to drive IT transformation initiatives and implement process improvements

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) tools and frameworks
• Experience with IT asset management (ITAM) and lifecycle tracking
• Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM), device management, and endpoint security
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication abilities
• Exposure to decentralized systems or blockchain technology is a plus
