Position Summary:
The Director of IT will oversee all aspects of the company’s technology function—including infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud services, enterprise applications, and end-user support—at a pivotal moment as we prepare for a public listing. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance daily operations with strategic readiness for SOX compliance, ITGC controls, and scalable growth. This is a new role in a lean, execution-focused biotech environment (~50–100 employees). The Director will directly manage external vendors and consultants while building internal IT capabilities over time.

This role is based in South San Francisco, CA and operates in a hybrid capacity, with an expected 2-3 days per week onsite. Flexibility may be considered for exceptional candidates with deep public company or biotech experience.
