Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is seeking a Director of Infection Prevention to lead clinical and operational infection control across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will oversee surveillance, data analysis, policy development, and collaboration with staff, physicians, and leadership to ensure compliance with regulations and high patient safety standards.

• CIC certification required and registered in Infection Prevention.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Public Health or Epidemiology.
• 5+ years in Infection Prevention & Control in acute care, with 2+ years of management.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional leadership for infection control across the organization.
• Coordinate surveillance, data analysis, and reporting for infection prevention.
• Build collaborative relationships to meet clinical, financial and quality goals.
• Lead evidence-based improvements and monitor outcomes.
• Apply epidemiological methods to design prevention strategies and KPIs.
