Job summary

National Community Investment Fund (NCIF) seeks a Director of Impact to drive the organization’s impact investing strategy through measurement, data analysis, and research.

This role will help develop NCIF’s impact framework and measurement tools, manage and analyze portfolio data across lending, equity, and NMTC activities, support the integration of AI-driven solutions, and generate insights that strengthen NCIF’s operations, enhance its brand, and contribute to the broader CDFI and impact

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of research and data analysis experience in policy, economics or related field.
• Strong knowledge of BI tools and data visualization.
• Hands-on experience with research databases (ACS, FDIC, Census, FFIEC, GIS).
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen and advance NCIF’s Impact Thesis and Theory of Change.
• Develop benchmarks, score cards, evaluation frameworks and rubrics.
• Research and communicate the impact of NCIF’s business lines.
• Lead data infrastructure improvements and ensure data integrity.
• Support AI-based analytics platform development for data accessibility.
• Create annual impact reports, dashboards and grant applications.
• Collaborate with industry partners to advance impact measurement practices.
• Prepare outputs for internal and external stakeholders; assist with webinars.
