Nexus at Cahokia in Sauget, IL is seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead the HR function for the facility, aligning day-to-day people practices with the talent strategy and ensuring compliant, efficient operations.

You will oversee payroll, employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance, while partnering with leadership to drive workforce excellence and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Nursing Home or Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Experience working with unions (SEIU).
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEOC, OSHA.

In this onsite role at Nexus at Cahokia in Sauget, IL, you will lead the Human Resources function for the facility and help align day-to-day people practices with the organization’s talent strategy. As Director of Human Resources, you will oversee core HR operations spanning payroll, employee relations, recruiting, and compliance.

This position offers USD 65,000 - 70,000 per year and centers on managing recruiting and onboarding workflows while ensuring HR processes are executed accurately and consistently for facility employees.
