Job summary

The Pavilion Behavioral Health System is seeking an HR Director who will report directly to the CEO and lead the delivery of workforce strategies and the effective implementation of HR programs, policies, and practices. The role partners with business leaders to drive recruitment, employee relations, coaching, performance management, and employee engagement across all HR areas.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field required.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in human resources, three years’ HR management experience, and two years’ healthcare preferred.
  • SPHR or PHR certification preferred.

The HR Director position is an integral part of the leadership team reporting directly to the CEO. The position leads the delivery of workforce strategies and drives the effective implementation of key HR programs, policies, and practices. The HR Director works in close contact with other business leaders as a business partner to drive recruitment, employee relations, coaching, performance management, employee engagement, as well as all other functional HR areas. The ideal candidate will bring sound management experience and solid HR practices managing all functional areas of human resources.

The HR Director plays a key role in helping to build a dynamic employee culture where employees are engaged and find long-term career success.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field required.

Experience: A minimum of five years’ experience in human resources, three years’ HR management experience, and two years’ of healthcare preferred. This position requires a willingness to roll up your sleeves to ensure the day-to-day HR operations of the department are fully compliant and sound while also having the proven ability to function at a strategic level. The ideal candidate would be agile in moving from tactical to strategic at any given time.

Certification: Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR), Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
