Zekelman Industries is seeking a Director of Human Resources to partner with business units across Atlas Tube locations, including Missouri. You will drive talent strategies, workforce effectiveness, and compliant HR programs in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role requires 10+ years of HR leadership, strong labor relations expertise, and strategic thinking to influence leaders and shape organizational growth while ensuring regulatory compliance and high employee engagement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years HR leadership, preferably in manufacturing, industrial or unionized environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or equivalent HR certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of labor relations, labor negotiations and employment law compliance.
• Experience with workforce planning, succession planning, and development programs.
• Strong analytical and technology skills with HRIS and workforce data.
• Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

Responsabilités

• Strategically partner with Business Unit leaders to develop HR strategies.
• Lead workforce planning, organizational design, and succession planning.
• Advise leaders on people-related initiatives and challenges.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to recruit top talent.
• Coach leaders through performance management and development processes.
• Work with Talent Management and L&D on career paths and succession.
• Design and deliver training programs to build capabilities.
• Foster positive employee relations and high performance.
• Provide guidance on conflict resolution, investigations, and actions.
• Develop workforce and labor strategies with business leaders.
• Lead HR compliance efforts across the business unit and minimize risk.
• Ensure adherence to labor laws and maintain accurate HR records.
• Oversee HR operations and technology, ensure data integrity and analytics.
