Job summary

HomeFirst, a Bay Area nonprofit serving the community since 1980, seeks a Director of HR Operations to lead the HR function. You will oversee payroll, HRIS, recruiting operations, benefits administration, and compliance, partnering with the CHRO to align HR services with the organization's mission.

In this hybrid role, you will establish standardized workflows, ensure accurate employee records, manage vendor relationships, and drive operational improvements across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven (7) years of progressively responsible human resources experience.
• Experience overseeing payroll administration and HR operations.
• Experience with HRIS administration and benefits administration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily administration of payroll, HRIS, benefits, and recruiting operations.
• Develop and maintain standardized workflows and service delivery across HR.
• Partner with CHRO and HR leaders to support the workforce and compliance.
• Ensure accurate employee records and timely employment verification.
• Lead HR reporting and workforce analytics across multiple sites.
