Job summary

Heritage Waterside, a progressive Assisted Living/Memory Care Community in Daytona Beach Shores, FL, is seeking a Full-time Housekeeping Supervisor. You will lead daily housekeeping operations, supervise staff, and ensure the highest cleanliness standards across apartments and common areas.

The role requires 2+ years in housekeeping leadership, strong customer service, and experience with budgeting and inventory. Benefits include meals, health coverage options, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years supervisory experience in housekeeping management.
• 2+ years' experience in hospitality or guest services preferred.
• Knowledge of environmental services, cleaning processes and equipment.
• Good customer service, recruiting and staff evaluation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily operations of the housekeeping department and ensure cleanliness of apartments and public areas.
• Assist in cleaning bathrooms and common areas (counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, fixtures).
• Lead and train housekeeping staff to meet high standards of cleanliness and resident satisfaction.
• Oversee budget, take inventory and ensure adequate cleaning supplies.
• Inspect new move-in arrivals before move-in date and plan productivity improvements.
• Monitor resident satisfaction and address complaints promptly; ensure equipment is in good working order.

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift

Responsibilities:

• Monitor all the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including the cleanliness of all apartmentsand public areas daily
• Participate in cleaning ofall bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, and fixtures in apartment and common areas
• Assist in vacuuming carpeted areas and mopping tile floors
• Lead and train housekeeping staff to adhere to our high standards of cleanliness and resident satisfaction
• Oversee the housekeeping department budget, take inventory, and ensure there is a stock of adequate cleaning supplies
• Inspect expected new move-in arrivals before move-in date
• Devising and setting up objectives to boost company productivity
• Monitoring resident satisfaction
• Managing resident complaints and resolving their issues
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is in proper working condition and decide on repairs as needed.

Requirements:

• A High school diploma or GED is required
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in housekeeping management as an executive housekeeper, housekeeping director, or other similar position is preferred
• At least 2+ years' experience in hospitality or guest services preferred
• Knowledge of environmental services, including detailed cleaning processes and a wide range of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Good customer service skills
• Experience in recruiting and hiring
• Experience in evaluating staff
• Experience in leadership roles
