Why Heritage Senior Living?

For our residents, this isn't simply a building - it's their home.

As a Housekeeper, you'll play an important role in making that home clean, comfortable, safe, and welcoming.

You’ll also have something many traditional housekeeping positions don't offer: the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with the people whose homes you care for.

A clean apartment, freshly completed laundry, a friendly conversation, or simply noticing that a resident may need assistance can make a meaningful difference in someone's day.

If you're dependable, caring, and take pride in a job well done, we'd love to have you on our team.

Essential Functions & Physical Requirements

The following are essential functions of the position. Reasonable accommodations may be provided as required by applicable law.

  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, employees, and supervisors.
  • Read and complete cleaning schedules, product instructions, safety information, electronic documentation, and other required records.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods while performing housekeeping responsibilities.
  • Frequently bend, reach, stoop, kneel, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements associated with cleaning.
  • Lift, carry, and move housekeeping equipment, supplies, laundry, and other items weighing up to 50 pounds as required.
  • Push and maneuver housekeeping carts, vacuums, and other cleaning equipment.
  • Safely use cleaning products, chemicals, and housekeeping equipment according to established procedures.
  • Perform hands-on cleaning, laundry, and sanitation responsibilities throughout the workday.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Work a flexible schedule based on community needs, which may include weekends, holidays, and additional hours.

Heritage Senior Living is an equal opportunity employer. Employment is subject to applicable pre-employment, training, and ongoing requirements in accordance with federal and state law.
