Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management's Alpharetta property seeks a Chief Engineer to direct all engineering operations, preventive maintenance, and asset protection in alignment with brand standards and regulations. You will manage the engineering team, budgeting, and safety programs while partnering with the General Manager to optimize quality, guest experience, and financial performance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in building management/engineering, strong English communication, and budgeting

Qualifications

• Five or more years of related experience in building management/engineering.
• Minimum of three years of managerial skills.
• Familiarity with hospitality industry practices preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Computer literate in MS Word, Excel; budgeting experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct all facets of Engineering and budget management.
• Lead and develop engineering staff, with asset protection and preventive maintenance focus.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and local, state, and national regulations.
• Walk the property daily to identify issues and coordinate repairs with staff.
• Direct emergency programs including equipment maintenance, inspections, and drills.
• Collaborate with General Manager and Corporate Office to track assets and financial performance.
