Job summary

SPIRE Hospitality seeks a Director of Procurement & Contracts to oversee sourcing, purchasing and contract management across a hotel portfolio. You will drive cost efficiency, vendor partnerships, and compliance with corporate standards while leveraging e‑procurement systems.

The ideal candidate has hospitality procurement experience, strong negotiation skills (including redlining), and ownership of enterprise‑wide supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Hospitality Management, or related field.
• 8-12+ years of progressive procurement and contract management experience.
• Experience with e-procurement systems (E‑Pro, BirchStreet, Coupa, Ariba).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies across all properties.
• Lead sourcing to optimize cost, quality, and service levels.
• Oversee purchasing policies and controls for consistency and compliance.
• Manage e-procurement platforms and drive adoption.
• Draft, review, and negotiate vendor contracts with redlining.
• Own master vendor relationships and monitor performance via KPIs.
• Lead vendor onboarding and transitions across the portfolio.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, legal and IT on procurement initiatives.
• Foster accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
