Beemac Logistics in Beaver, PA seeks a commercially driven Vice President of Specialized Logistics to lead heavy haul, over-dimensional, overweight, project, and high-value freight. The role is a player-coach position reporting to the CEO, blending sales leadership with hands-on shipment ownership from booking through delivery.

Responsibilities include pricing, carrier selection, quotes, risk controls, and developing SOPs to scale the business.

Qualifikationen

• Significant hands-on experience in heavy haul or project freight brokerage, trucking, or logistics.
• Experience pricing complex freight, evaluating carrier costs, and negotiating rates.
• Experience selling, coaching, or supporting others in a sales or account management role.
• Existing book of business or established relationships in heavy haul or project freight.
• Familiarity with tracking systems and Excel; strong negotiation and relationship skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead planning and execution of heavy haul and related freight from planning to delivery.
• Review dimensions, weight, equipment, routing, permits, and escorts before booking.
• Act as primary specialized logistics resource for sales reps and pricing.
• Develop competitive quotes by evaluating carrier rates and routes; approve pricing on high value loads.
• Build and manage relationships with heavy haul carriers and vendors.
• Oversee risk controls, insurance, tracking, and escalation procedures.
• Develop SOPs, KPIs, and training to improve service and scalability.
• Coach sales reps on qualifying and pricing specialized freight; partner with leadership to grow.
