Job summary

The YMCA of Superior California is seeking an Association Health & Wellness Director to lead the Health & Wellness Department across branches. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, plan programs, and ensure safety and equipment standards are met.

Travel to branches is required and you will drive program development and community partnerships. You will supervise personal trainers, group fitness staff, nutritionists, and wellness coaches, while collaborating with the Facilities Manager on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong computer and writing skills required.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and tracking data.

Responsibilities

• Creates vision and standard practices for branches in health and wellness programs.
• Develops and monitors department budgets and expenses.
• Monitors program effectiveness and community engagement for all branches.
• Recruits, hires, trains, and supervises staff and volunteers for the Health & Wellness Department.
• Ensures adherence to health and safety standards and maintains procedures.
• Oversees staff communications and scheduling; coordinates CRM activities.
• Coordinates equipment maintenance and facility needs at each site.
• Assists in marketing and distribution of program information.
• Tracks and submits monthly invoices and expenses.
