Job summary

Somerville-Cambridge Elder Services Incorporated is seeking a Director of Home and Community-Based Services to lead SCES HCBS programs, ensuring quality, compliance, and financial stewardship.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will translate organizational priorities into effective day-to-day execution, support managers, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement across aging and disability services.

Qualifications

• Must have RN/BSN or LICSW with healthcare leadership in LTSS/HCBS.
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or LICSW strongly preferred.
• Experience leading LTSS, HCBS, aging or disability services in a regulatory environment.
• Proven ability to develop leaders, manage budgets, and drive performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational leadership for HCBS programs, ensuring delivery, compliance, and fiscal stewardship.
• Translate priorities into clear goals, workflows, and accountability measures.
• Develop and monitor HCBS improvement plans with ownership and timelines.
• Lead responses to regulatory reviews and ensure audit readiness.
• Monitor performance with dashboards and reporting; drive data-driven improvements.
• Coach and develop managers and supervisors for operational excellence.
