Job summary

DSV Road GmbH in the United States is seeking a Director of Project Engineering to lead the project engineering group supporting new facility construction, client migration and technology deployment. You will collaborate with Solutions Design, Project Management and Global Real Estate to ensure successful implementations and cost control.

The role requires 10+ years in engineering, 3PL experience, Brownfield/Greenfield projects, and extensive travel.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required (Four-year)
• Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in 3PL environments
• Brownfield and Greenfield project exposure
• PMP certification or Lean Six Sigma a plus
• Experience dealing with end users, vendors and clients

Responsibilities

• Track projects and provide guidance to management
• Collaborate with Automations & Integration, IT, Operations, HR and Quality
• Provide project engineering resources for new and existing facilities
• Develop and maintain project management tools
• Define and manage project scopes and budgets
• Travel to sites (50-75%) for deployment and support
• Develop team leadership and communication skills
• Oversee site upfits, capital purchases, MHE and related items
• Communicate with stakeholders and analyze data to solve issues
• Provide regular project updates
