Job summary

Dechra is seeking a Director, Strategic Partnerships & Scouting to accelerate global growth by identifying and securing high-value opportunities across companion animal, equine and emerging tech segments.

You will lead cross-functional teams, build external partnerships, and steer due diligence, licensing and collaborations with biotech, pharma and technology partners, aligning with Dechra's long-term strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, or related field.
• Strong track record identifying and evaluating business transactions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a global/matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business development plan aligned with global strategy.
• Identify licensing, partnerships, joint ventures, and collaborations with biotech, pharmaceutical, and technology companies.
• Develop strong relationships with external partners and industry networks.
• Represent Dechra at industry conferences, innovation forums, and venture networks to access external innovation.
• Maintain understanding of market trends, competitive landscape, and unmet needs within key category areas.
