Job summary

Clinton Health Access Initiative in the United States is seeking a Director to lead the commodity security and financing work for Women’s and Newborn Health. You will shape strategy, engage donors and governments, and oversee country-level implementation to improve procurement, financing, and access to essential commodities.

You will work with CHAI’s global teams, manage cross-cutting programs, and advance policy, evidence, and partnerships to reduce outcomes gaps.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of progressive experience in global health and commodity security, procurement, financing, or supply chain.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategy in complex, ambiguous environments.
• Proven experience engaging with multilateral organizations, bilateral donors, and global health partners.
• Excellent communication and ability to distill complex issues for diverse audiences.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve CHAI’s commodity security and financing strategy within WNH and related programs.
• Lead execution of commodity security and financing workstreams with measurable results.
• Engage with governments, donors, and partners to strengthen financing and procurement systems.
• Mobilize resources and develop high-quality proposals for funding opportunities.
• Provide leadership for the workstream and collaborate with country teams and CHAI programs.
