Job summary

Springfield Funeral & Cremation in Springfield, TN is seeking an experienced operations leader to oversee the daily operations of the funeral home and cemetery locations while ensuring exceptional client families' experiences.

You will manage resources, develop budgets, monitor compliance, and mentor department heads. Travel up to 20% may be required; a four-year degree and valid driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Experience with analyzing finance reports to determine actions to maintain and/or improve the location’s performance strongly preferred.
• Valid state issued driver’s license in good standing and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the management of resources and day-to-day operations at the location.
• Establishes a financial plan and ensures goals are met annually.
• Analyze activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to track progress toward goals.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations for cemetery, sales, crematory and funeral home operations.
• Develops and monitors relationships with suppliers to add value to client families.
