Job summary

You will guide a high-velocity team delivering cutting-edge coding agents, with partnerships with GDM to land research outcomes and value breakthroughs at Google scale, through first-principles thinking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 15 years of software engineering experience.
• 10 years in senior leadership leading AI teams.
• 3 years building GenAI products.
• Experience with hill-climbing, fine-tuning/SFT, and agentic systems.
• Experience turning frontier AI research into production-grade enterprise AI products.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a high-bandwidth partner for research teams with DeepMind to identify gaps in core intelligence.
• Translate frontier capabilities into high-value product capabilities and enable data-rich feedback loops.
• Build and scale frontier AI-native engineering organizations focused on rapid experimentation and removal of blockers to AGI.
