Job summary

Diptyque, a luxury fragrance house, seeks a Director of FP&A to lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis from our NYC office. You will guide the finance team and collaborate with cross-functional partners to optimize profitability and strategic growth.

This hands-on leader will translate strategy into the annual plan, manage Opex/Capex, and deliver KPI-driven insights to senior executives, aligning with global best practices. A dynamic, collaborative culture awaits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required; MBA preferred.
• Proven experience as Director of FP&A or similar in Retail Luxury/Cosmetic industries.
• Strong financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and modeling skills.
• Proficient in Excel and financial planning software.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead and develop a team and partner with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead company financial planning cycles: annual budget, monthly close, and quarterly reforecast.
• Provide variance analysis to understand risks and opportunities in financial results.
• Analyze margin and contribution across channels and product categories to drive profitable growth.
• Oversee inventory performance and capex oversight with ROI assessment.
• Develop KPI and cross-functional partnerships to support executive decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with policies and strengthen internal controls.
