HFG, a high-growth financial services and technology business in New York, seeks a Director of FP&A to lead budgeting, forecasting and strategic analysis. You will develop sophisticated financial models, partner with the CEO, CFO and senior leaders, and deliver dashboards and insights to drive growth.

A high-growth financial services and technology business is looking to appoint a Director of FP&A to lead its financial planning, forecasting and strategic analysis function.

Reporting into senior leadership, you will play a key role in driving financial performance, supporting strategic decision-making and providing the business with the analysis and insight required to scale effectively.
Lead the FP&A function, overseeing budgeting, forecasting and long-range financial planning.
Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support strategic and commercial decisions.
Partner closely with the CEO, CFO and senior leadership team on business performance and growth initiatives.
Produce regular management reporting, financial analysis and performance dashboards for senior leadership and the Board.
Analyse revenue, profitability, costs, cash flow and key business drivers, identifying opportunities and risks.
Lead annual budgeting and quarterly/monthly forecasting processes.
Provide financial insight into new products, markets, investments and strategic initiatives.
Develop KPIs and performance metrics to improve visibility across the organisation.
Partner with operational and commercial teams to drive accountability for financial performance.
Support capital planning, scenario analysis and strategic decision-making.
Continue to develop and improve the company's FP&A infrastructure, processes and reporting capabilities.
Present complex financial information clearly to senior stakeholders and non-finance executives.
Qualified accountant or equivalent finance professional.
Significant experience within FP&A, financial planning, corporate finance or strategic finance.
Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
Experience operating in a high-growth, entrepreneurial or financial-services environment.
Commercially focused with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insight.
Comfortable working directly with C-suite executives and Board-level stakeholders.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Experience building or developing FP&A processes and teams would be highly advantageous.
A background in financial services, fintech, capital markets, insurance, exchanges or technology would be particularly relevant.
