Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of FP&A/financial analysis experience.
• Strong GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and modeling.
• Experience with cash flow forecasts, incl. 13-week model.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with FP&A systems/ERP/management reporting.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information to stakeholders.

The Opportunity

The company is seeking an FP&A Manager to play a highly visible role within the finance organization, partnering directly with the CFO, Head of FP&A, senior leadership, and private equity sponsor.

This is not a narrow reporting position. The FP&A Manager will have a broad mandate spanning financial planning and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow and liquidity management, executive reporting, financial modeling, and cross-functional business partnership.

The successful candidate will also help modernize the company's FP&A infrastructure, including the implementation and optimization of financial planning and reporting tools. As the organization continues to scale, this individual will have the opportunity to help build the FP&A function and potentially develop and lead a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages, including budget vs. actual, actual vs. forecast, variance analysis, KPIs, and management insights.
• Support the annual budgeting process and ongoing rolling forecasts across the organization.
• Analyze operating and financial performance, identify key trends and variances, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for leadership.
• Own and maintain the 13-week cash flow forecast, monitoring liquidity and proactively identifying potential risks and opportunities.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Serve as a cross-functional business partner to operating leaders, helping them understand financial performance and the economic impact of business decisions.
• Work directly with senior executives and the company's private equity sponsor on reporting, forecasting, analysis, and other strategic finance initiatives.
• Help implement, enhance, and automate FP&A systems, processes, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Improve the consistency, accuracy, and efficiency of budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Support the continued development of the FP&A organization, with the potential to build and eventually lead a team as the function grows.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will be a hands-on, analytically strong finance professional who can operate effectively in a growing and evolving organization. This individual should be comfortable moving between detailed financial analysis and executive-level communication.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, public accounting, or a related finance role.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage cash flow forecasts, including a 13-week cash flow model.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience working with financial planning, ERP, and/or management reporting systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to identify the business implications behind financial results.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• Executive presence and the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership.

Preferred Experience

• MBA or other advanced degree.
• Public accounting experience.
• Experience working within a private equity-backed organization or directly with a PE sponsor.
• Experience with NetSuite.
• Exposure to Adaptive Planning, DataRails, Solution 7, or comparable FP&A/reporting platforms.
• Experience implementing, optimizing, or automating FP&A systems and processes.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and an interest in eventually building and managing an FP&A team.
