Job summary

NextGEN Greenville is seeking a proactive program marketer and ecosystem connector to advance founder engagement and program placement. You will coordinate our monthly convenings, oversee the NEXT Venture Summit, and partner with the Executive Director to shape the ecosystem we support.

You will own storytelling, marketing rhythm, and CRM data practices, ensuring our voice remains consistent and impactful as we grow our reach within the startup community in Greenville and beyond.

Qualifications

• Curiosity about people and what makes a founder tick.
• Style: ability to distinguish good from great and explain why.
• Initiative: habit of fixing things nobody asked you to fix.
• Comfort out in the world, at lunch, over coffee or across the room at an event.
• Coachability plus backbone to push back when an idea isn't landing.

Responsibilities

• Know the founders; listen first, connect them with the right support.
• Watch the water: spot gaps and shape team decisions.
• Fill the right seats: recruit founders who fit programs.
• Connect the nodes: coordinate ESOs and partners.
• Own the Summit: lead the NEXT Venture Summit with the ED's guidance.
• Lead marketing execution across digital and traditional channels.
• Capture stories and ensure consistent brand voice.
• Maintain CRM records to support impact reporting.
• Other duties as assigned as a small nonprofit.
