Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years fundraising experience for science or research.
• Experience growing a foundation or institutional giving program.
• Track record securing grants in five- to six-figure range, with $1M+ preferred.
• Ability to manage full donor development cycle: identification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship.
• Strong written and verbal communication translating science into proposals.

Responsibilities

• Translate research priorities into fundable cases for foundation audiences.
• Surface cross-disciplinary funding opportunities across the Lab.
• Draft proposals, LOIs, and stewardship reports.
• Collaborate with contracts, finance, and operations to manage funds.
• Build relationships with foundation and corporate funders.
