Job summary

The Dallas Bar Association seeks an experienced, relationship-focused Director of the Dallas Bar Foundation to oversee the Foundation's administration and support its Board of Trustees.

The role emphasizes donor relations, grants and scholarships administration, event planning, community engagement, and alignment with the Foundation's mission; the Director reports to the Executive Director of the Dallas Bar Association and is an employee of the Association.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience working with nonprofit leaders and boards.
• Experience administering philanthropic efforts, including scholarships, grantmaking, fundraising, including a strong emphasis on donor relations.
• Experience planning and executing events and community initiatives.
• Demonstrated commitment to volunteer service.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work with individuals of diverse ages, backgrounds, experiences, and communication styles.
