Job summary

Belmont Public Schools is seeking a Director of Food Services to oversee day-to-day food service operations for seven schools serving 4,400+ students. The director reports to the Director of Business, Finance, and Operations and ensures a nutritionally and fiscally sound program.

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree related to food services or nutrition and at least three years of management experience in the food services industry, with the ability to work independently and apply approved

Qualifications

The Director reports to the Director of Business, Finance, and Operations and is responsible for a nutritionally and fiscally sound program. Required skills include: the ability to work independently and make decisions based on agreed upon procedures, knowledge of and experience with nutritional standards, exceptional customer service, organization and attention to detail, the ability to manage people.

A bachelor's degree related to the food services industry, nutrition, or other related field with three or more years of management experience in the food services industry is required.
