Job summary

The Turfway Park Racing & Gaming division of Churchill Downs Incorporated seeks a Director of Food & Beverage to oversee daily operations of all F&B outlets.

You will lead a high-performing team, develop menus and pricing strategies, ensure compliance with gaming and health regulations, and partner with Marketing for events and promotions. Ten to fifteen years of hospitality leadership experience and a 4-year degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ten to fifteen years of experience in gaming, hospitality, or related entertainment industry preferred.
• Five years of experience managing managers or in a Leadership role required.
• 4-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in excess of 10 years is preferred.
• Able to obtain a valid Racing License.

Responsibilities

• Manages concessions, restaurants, and other food and beverage service venues.
• Hires, trains and manages a high performing F&B team.
• Enforces company policies and standards of quality, safety and performance.
• Coordinates with staff to plan menu and pricing.
• Responsible for Food and Beverage compliance of gaming and health regulations.
• Develops annual budgets and business plans with the F&B team.
• Coordinates with Marketing for events and promotions that include Food and Beverage.
• Maintains cooperative relationships with property management and vendors.
• Reviews staffing levels to maintain budgeted levels of employment.
• Other duties as assigned.
