Job summary

SkyBridge Luxury in Florida announces a Director of Food & Beverage to lead a multi-outlet operation across dining, culinary, events and resort experiences, and to drive the property’s next growth phase.

You will oversee restaurants, bars, banquets, pool and recreation, partner with the Executive Chef, and align service standards with strong financial performance. Onsite role with evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of progressive F&B leadership in hotels or resorts.
• Experience with multi-outlet and banquet or catering operations.
• Luxury or premium hotel/resort background.
• Proven ownership of financial results, forecasting, and labor management.
• Strong culinary understanding and leadership of senior department heads.
• Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain leaders.
• Onsite availability including evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the division's department heads and operating teams.
• Maintain consistent service, quality, and execution across varied dining concepts and resort experiences.
• Own budgets, forecasts, labor plans, purchasing, inventory, and cost controls.
• Partner with the Executive Chef on menus, production capacity, food quality, staffing, and kitchen performance.
• Oversee banquet and catering execution, including staffing, production planning, and event profitability.
• Collaborate with Sales and Catering to deliver well-planned, commercially successful group programs.
• Lead the broader pool and recreation operation, maintaining clear operating and safety accountability.
• Prepare recruitment, training, equipment, and service systems for anticipated event-business growth.
• Maintain an active presence with guests and colleagues.
• Ensure compliance with applicable food safety, sanitation, licensing, and operating requirements.

SkyBridge Luxury is representing a substantial waterfront resort seeking an accomplished Director of Food & Beverage to lead a diverse operation and help prepare the property for its next phase of growth.

This opportunity offers broad responsibility across dining, culinary, events, and resort experiences. With a significant expansion of the meetings and events platform planned, the incoming Director will influence the leadership team, staffing strategy, service standards, and operating approach supporting that growth.

Overview

The Director leads restaurants, bars, culinary, stewarding, banquets, catering, and special events, together with pool operations and recreation.

The Executive Chef reports directly to this position. The role requires a visible leader who develops capable department heads, maintains polished guest experiences, and connects operating decisions with strong financial performance.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous service as a hotel or resort Director of Food & Beverage with full-division responsibility.
• At least eight years of progressive F&B leadership.
• Significant multi-outlet and banquet or catering experience.
• Relevant luxury or premium hotel and resort experience.
• Demonstrated ownership of financial results, forecasting, labor management, and operating controls.
• Strong culinary understanding and experience leading senior department heads.
• A record of recruiting, developing, and retaining effective leaders.
• Ability to work onsite, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business requires.

Preferred experience

• Direct oversight of both pool F&B and recreation.
• Resort openings, expansions, or significant increases in group volume.
• Food halls or comparable multi-concept operations.
