Gecko Hospitality (Corporate) is seeking a Director of Food and Beverage to lead the hotel’s dining operations, including restaurants, bars, and events. You will drive guest satisfaction, profitability, and service excellence, partnering with culinary and catering teams.

The role requires strategic oversight of menus, beverage programs, budgets, and staff development to deliver a luxury guest experience at our upscale property.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations and culinary trends.
• Ability to develop menus with the culinary team.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
• Experience in banquet production and event execution.
• Forecasting, budgeting, and cost-control capabilities.

Job Responsibilities

The Director of Food and Beverage is responsible for leading and managing the food and beverage operations of the hotel, ensuring a high level of performance, guest satisfaction, and profitability. The Director of Food and Beverage must establish goals for the food and beverage operating departments, analyze financial reports, anticipate and resolve problems concerning all facets of the food and beverage division, anticipate trends, enact service, as well as come up with profit-oriented and cost-saving ideas/activities.

Qualifications

• The Director of Food and Beverage must possess strong knowledge of food, methods of food preparation, alcoholic beverages, trends in both food and alcoholic beverages, and be able to develop menus along with the culinary team.
• Trust, honesty, integrity and a true passion for customer satisfaction is a requirement for the Director of Food and Beverage.
• The Director of Food and Beverage must have the ability to compose and express thoughts in a clear and understandable way to ensure effective communication.
• A true desire to mentor and develop others is a trait the Director of Food and Beverage must have.
• The Director of Food and Beverage must have experience in banquet production and performance.
• The Director of Food and Beverage must have sufficient mathematical skills to prepare forecasts, budgets, and reports, calculate food, beverage and labor costs, etc.
